As a manager of an eating or drinking establishment, you are responsible for the safety of your employees. You are required by law to display certain posters and advisories to employees per the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
Injury prevention compliance:
Go to the OSHA website and find out about what a kitchen manager must do to prevent injury in the workplace from cleaning procedures, operating machinery, and environmental standpoint. Share your findings with the class. http://www.osha.gov
