thank you very much for your response to the weekly discussion question.  As you mentioned in your posting, nurses have ample opportunities to engage in policy decisions, particularly professional nursing organizations.  One of the major challenges is getting nurses to first belong to an organization and then secondly to engage in advocacy for various health policies.  I wrote about this topic, particularly during the time of COVID.  The article is at
